Dear visitor, welcome at the Delphi-OpenGL-Community.

We are a growing community of delphi coders omitted to OpenGL and have started out with pure german content. But due to the growing number of foreign visitors, we decided to also open up for all english-speaking delphi coders out there and therefore have set up an english forum where you can ask your OpenGL- and/or Delphi related questions.

The rest of the page's content (mainly our tutorials) will remain in german language for now, but translations may follow in the future (if you're interested in doing a translation of one more tutorials, don't hesitate to contact us). So for now please consult this short information page and feel free to ask questions in the forum.

  • For windows users :
    Since Mike Lischke's OpenGL header for delphi isn't updated anymore, we decided to set up a team to create a new header. This new header supports the latest OpenGL-extensions (v1.5) and also has all helper functions that Mike Lischke's OpenGL12.pas had, so that it's very easy to replaced it with our header. You can download it here and if you have questions on or problems with that header get support in our forum thread.

    For linux users :
    Our header has recently been ported to linux (for use with Kylix) by Delphic and is in it's early testing stages. You can download it here, and get some additional templates and demos in this thread. Since we don't have many people using Kylix, we really need feedback on that header port, so please contact us if something doesn't work as it should.

  • We have a fairly large collection of OpenGL-related downloads, divided into several categories :

    • Templates
    • Different templates for different OpenGL-versions and different environments (VCL and pure API). If you want a quick start, then start off with one of that templates.
    • API- and VCL-Sources
    • There you'll find the sources (and some other smaller apps) to our tutorials, depending on what environment the tutorial writer had chosen. This may only be of interest if you can read our german tutorials.
    • Binaries
    • Compiled binaries for most of our tutorials and some apps and games.
    • Libraries
    • If you're looking for some libraries to assist you in your OpenGL-coding tasks, then look no further than this section. You can grab our OpenGL1.5-Header and our own OpenGL-SDK here.
    • Documents
    • As the title suggest, this section contains some usefull GL-related documents like the MS-PSDK and the Redbook.
    • Projects
    • You'll find some finished projects of us and our readers in this section. And if you've made something with Delphi and OpenGL but have no chance to upload it somewhere, just contact us and we'll put it in this section.
