Just a quick note to say that through the excellent efforts of Jason Bell, we now have JEDI-SDL working on MacOS X, but using a customised version of FreePascal, rather than Delphi ( unfortunately - COME ON BORLAND! ).

I have uploaded Jason's screen shot over @

v1.0 of JEDI-SDL is due out later this year and we are ensuring that it compiles with Delphi, Kylix, FreePascal and even Gnu Pascal and making sure that it works on the Operating Systems that these Pascal compilers support.

Currently JEDI-SDL works on Win32, Linux, FreeBSD and now MacOS X.

Super Kudos go out to Jason for not giving up and finally getting it to
work!

Another bit of JEDI-SDL news is that Igor Stojkovic has been working on a native Pascal SDL set of controls/GUI for a few years now, and his latest addition is a Form Designer and Object Inspector. You can find out more about the controls @
http://galeb.etf.bg.ac.yu/~stojkovic/
and a screen shot of the form designer can be seen @

A new release of SDLCtrls is due out soon, which includes the form designer, so watch out for it.

Dominique.

Now if only Free Pascal would support the PS2 then the Free Pascal, JEDI-SDL & OpenGL combo would be set. ;)

The PS2 uses a mips processor, gnu-pascal supports that for the sgi-irix platform. So if anyone is daring
