I try to make a 3d shoot em up with 2d style... The spaceship the buildings the trees is in 3d and the movin in a 2d canvas... Do you know any examples about that... Simply is the best .... Thank you... |

Please explain in more detail what you want to do and where the problem is. The topic is to broad i guess. |

No i just looking and not found a simple example how to handle 3d objects in a 2d canvas I know you say i can put a background image and the rest can be 3d but i want a start something similar maybe something better i thought ..... There is no real difference between 2D and 3D in OpenGL. For correct ordering of you polygons and pixels you will even need a depth buffer even in 2D. The only difference is that you might want to use glOrtho instead of gluPerspective. |
